One of the biggest events England Rugby Travel has ever staged, this was a remarkable finale to a wonderful tournament ahead of the final that featured England and South Africa.

More than 800 guests flocked to the Hotel New Otani for a very special night’s entertainment that featured some of the biggest names in world rugby.

The highlight of the show was a double-act appearance by referees Wayne Barnes and Nigel Owens, who received a standing ovation for their very insight and take on the game, the players and their favourite moments.

Fans were also wowed by three world legends: Paul O’Connell, the Irish second row, Rugby World Cup winner John Smit and England legends Will Greenwood and Ben Kay, who delved into both squads in one of the best pre-match build ups there was to experience.

Quite simply, this was an event fitting for the final and with almost 400 international caps on display, England Rugby Travel clients could not have wished for a better or more impactful build up. Just very special.

And that wasn’t all. With local entertainment and wonderful food and drink, the party continued long into the night ahead of England’s third final appearance.
