City of Toyota Stadium

Built in 2001, this football-dominated stadium will provide a genuine big game feel when Wales take on Georgia.

They may not have hopes of reaching the knock out stages but Georgia will give Wales a real physical examination in this 45,000 capacity stadium.

Home to J1 League club Nagoya Grampus, it is also used by Toyota Verblitz, the home rugby union club.

Like many stadiums in Japan, the architecture and design is inspiring – here the roof folds like an accordion – but the Welsh fanatics will be hoping the noise and hymns and songs that cascade down from the stands are enough to inspire their team against the Georgians.
