We have created an example about how the Ticket Promise would work, after you have bought your package with us:
Example A:
Mr and Mrs Smith are lifelong England fans who would like to guarantee their place at Rugby World Cup, so they book a Quarter-finals travel package before the ticket sale.
In the ticket sale, Mr Smith is successful and gets two tickets for the Quarter-finals.
Mr Smith now has the option to either:
- Refund the face value of the tickets for the game/s that was/were included in the travel package, and all other parts of their ticket-inclusive package remain in place including secured accommodation, travel and access to England Rugby House
- Have a full refund for their travel package and make their own travel plans
Example B:
Mrs Jones is a Rugby World Cup fan who is keen to guarantee her place now before any ticket only scramble for the match against Japan.
She guarantees her place at Rugby World Cup by booking a travel package before the ticket sale.
In the ticket sale, Mrs Jones is not successful in securing tickets.
Mrs Jones now has the peace of mind that she is still going to Rugby World Cup. She can look forward to enjoying the amazing England Rugby Travel events that are included in the travel package, and have all of her chosen flights, hotels and transport looked after.
Example C:
Mr Walton has always wanted to go to Rugby World Cup and has his heart set on the semi-finals.
He does NOT book his travel package before the ticket sale to guarantee his place.
In the ticket sale, Mr Walton is not successful in securing tickets.
Having not been successful in securing tickets, Mr Walton visits the England Rugby Travel website but the package he wanted to book is now sold out. Mr Walton now has lost out on his much wanted dream.
