Semi-final 2 - Stade de France - 21 October 2023
It’s within touching distance. The greatest game in rugby is only 80 minutes away and the eyes of the world will be on both semi-finals.
In 2019, there were two contrasting games. In the first, England produced their most memorable performance under Eddie Jones to defeat New Zealand and in the second, South Africa’s expertise, muscle and game-plan strangled Wales.
Two great teams will be heading out of the tournament – the question is, who will be left standing?
The matches included
Final - Stade de France - Saturday 28 October 2023
Over 160 minutes of rugby, you will see the best four teams in the world whittled down to one champion.
In 2019 the bronze final was contested between mighty New Zealand and wonderful Wales before South Africa and England collided in an epic final in Yokohama.
The atmosphere, the intensity, the spectacle, the expectation – rugby occasions don’t get any bigger or more emotional and your place at both games is guaranteed. Paris is a fitting back-drop – it is a city steeped in rugby history and culture and you can guarantee the Stade de France will be at its exhilarating best and you will be there too.

Paris will always argue (with full justification) that its clichés are better than anywhere else's. True, you have seen them in a thousand images – the gleaming shopping strip of the Champs Elysées, the leafy paths of the Jardin des Tuileries, the Gothic majesty of Notre-Dame (currently under repair after the fire which enveloped it in 2019, but no less incredible under scaffolding), the epic domes of the Sacré-Coeur basilica, on the top of Montmartre. But to head to Paris, and not see them, would be to miss much that makes the city special.
Then there is the Eiffel Tower – which, for all its global fame, more than rewards those who pay it closer attention. The view it offers – from the first and second stages, as well as from the top – is one that is best enjoyed with your own eyes. Paris has it all and this rugby experience will bring it to life.
The seafront is the main focus, of course. The Promenade des Anglais runs alongside the Mediterranean for four miles but the city caters to all sorts. The narrow streets behind Plage des Ponchettes – Rue du Moulin, Rue du Pontin, Rue de l’Abbaye – are filled with bars which deal more in beers than bottles of something vintage. This is also the “old town”, where the Baroque Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate holds pride of position on Place Rossetti, and the Marché Aux Fleurs Cours Saleya (market) sells local produce. From here, it’s a short walk up the Colline du Chateau (Castle Hill), where the remnants of the city’s medieval fortress look down on the beaches.
